Navleen Dhillon is a senior at Frontier High School and now the president of the Dreamcatchers club. She first joined this club as a sophomore and was voted to become the Secretary. For her junior year, she became the Vice President of the club because she was dedicated in the work and effort. She is also involved in other clubs at Frontier High School such as National Honors Society, Spanish Honors Society, and the Key Club. . Outside of school, she likes to spend time with my family, volunteer at the hospital, and play basketball. The best part of being a part of DreamCatchers is to be able to experience and learn the background history of the patients and being able to talk to them and being able to make their wishes come true!
Being able to go to the facilities and doings arts&crafts with the patients living there might seem like a small thing, but it really isn’t. Seeing the spark of excitement in their eyes after seeing us volunteers makes not only us but everyone feel grate and appreciated by them who may or may not have a family member who could make a trip down to visit them. But it is our job to make sure they do not feel lonely, which is why we tend to go visit them and do some crafts which makes their day. It is truly amazing being apart of this organization and she will most definitely carry these amazing experiences onto the future with me!
